Girls Say Man Tried To Lure Them Into Van
GALVESTON — Police are looking for a man who asked two girls walking home from school Wednesday to get in his van, Galveston school district Police Chief LeeRoy Amador said.
Two girls, ages 7 and 9, told police a young black man in a brown or tan van stopped them on Avenue K, near the tennis courts by Scott Elementary School. He rolled down the window asked them to get in the van, Amador said.
The girls ran away, and he drove off.
