Murder Trial Begins In Fatal Shooting
TEXAS CITY — A jury of eight women and five men was selected Monday evening in the case of a man charged with murder, stemming from a 2007 homicide.
Ronnie Roshell Johnson, 21, is accused in the May 19, 2007, fatal shooting of Luis Joel Gonzales-Sosa, Texas City police said.
Police found Gonzales-Sosa’s body slumped over the steering wheel of a pickup, which was parked on railroad tracks in the 400 block of 10th Avenue North.
Visiting Judge Frank Carmona is presiding in Galveston’s 10th District Court.
